The Problem
Renting through Studierendenwerk Website is very tiring and complicated procedure and requires lot of paper work, exchange of pdfs between stakeholders through email. Lot of uncertainity on availability of rooms which create problem for the expats or even the natives travelling from far distance.
The Goal
Improve the experience of new comer or already existing users if Studierendenwerk website to book or change the room using design thinking.

Prototyping Phase
Information Architecture
Mind Map was not enough to start prototyping. Created information architecture to understand the user flow.
Paper Wireframe Prototype
Information architecture was than wireframed in paper.
Paper Wireframe Prototype Test Iteration
Experience prototype works in iteration received from users. I used my paper wireframe to and noted the feedback from user to create interactive prototype in Figma.
Interactive Prototype
Studierendenwerk Siegen housing site have login and sign up option. In Signup option the desired age will be checked because Studierendenwerk has age limit of 32 years.
Dashboard is individual for each user with all the information at one place.
Apply for new room in online our online platform there won’t be any need to download pdf sign and send it back to the housing committee. On the top of the page user can also see empty room in each of the hostels. After submitting application user can check the status of the application and wait status of the room.
The user can now change the room, buy or rent necessary items for room, and more surf more for housing options.
